about
Here's another track from my home studio sessions.
A lot of times when I'm trying to come up with a new tune I'll start with a feel or groove I enjoy playing on an instrument and take it from there. This one began with Leon Russell style piano part and that was enough to get the ideas rolling.
lyrics
Push it Away
Expectations are running wild in the streets with no sense of boundaries
Irritated, he wonders why he questions all he values
So he starts again
Look out, there's a storm that come ahead
Hide the answers, never let go of the past
Wandering down the road to find the answers he seeks
Only questions why to another
So you kick it and you push it away
Lord knows I tried to be a part of it
So you're thinking that you've got it made
Lord knows I've tried to be a part of it
Wandering down the road to find the answers he seeks
Only questions why to another
So you kick it and you push it away
Lord knows I tried to be a part of it
So you're thinking that you've got it made
Lord knows I've tried to be a part of it
To make fun of it
To be a part of it
